Installing AnyDesk

AnyDesk is a remote desktop application and software that allows collaboration and seamless remote connection from one device to another. The screen is transmitted 1-to-1 allow users to work on a computer even if you are located distances away.

Here are the steps to download AnyDesk on your computer.

Step 1: Click here (for Windows) or here (for Mac) to jump to the official AnyDesk website.

Step 2: Click on the Download Now button.

Step 3: Select the location where this file has to be downloaded on your system, by default this will be downloaded in your computer’s Downloads folder.

Step 4: Go to the Downloads section and Right-click on the file. This would open a context menu as shown below in the image. Select Run as Administrator option or simply double-click on the file. This would start the installation process.

Step 5: An installation wizard would be displayed to help you complete the installation process of AnyDesk. The wizard may require you to approve making changes to your device, simply click on Next in such cases. After which, you will be asked to choose the location to install Anydesk on your system as shown below. Now, click Accept and Install to complete the process.

The installation process might take a few moments to install.

​

Step 6: Once installed, run this program. To do so, double-click on the icon to launch the application. This will open a page as shown.

Step 7: Provide the 9 digit ID (Your Address) to your remote assistance provider to allow for the remote session to take place.
